The virus scanner of Astra Shield checks files while they are saved and recognises dangerous behaviour.
Astra Shield is the protection system of AstraOS. On 2 November 2026 its virus scanner learned two things: it checks files while they are saved, also scripts, and it recognises dangerous behaviour of programs.
The settings for all protection are in one place: Settings, Security. We do not publish how the protection works in detail – we say what is tested and what is not.
