AstraOSAstraOS gets a web browser
The AstraOS browser loads websites over our own network software and shows headings and paragraphs.
On 3 November 2026 the first version of the AstraOS web browser started: an address bar, pages loaded over HTTP with our own network software and a small HTML reader for headings and paragraphs.
On 4 November the second part followed: pages load as their own task with progress and a stop button, simple styling works, and back, forward and reload remember where you were on the page.
It is an early browser. It cannot do everything a big browser can, and we will not claim it can.
